How does it work?

When you start a Public Event, all your followers recieve a notification about it, and also your Public Event appears in the general feed with Public Events, and all LiveStage users can tap to the Pulse button, see your event and take photos. Users can also scroll through the feed of Public Photo Events to discover new photographers and models, take photos, follow them, and receive updates about their upcoming Private Events.

Creating a Public Photo Event

1. To create a Public Event, please navigate to the Photo Event Creation page by clicking on the red circular button as shown in the picture.
2. Enter the Title, Location, Categories that best fit your Photo Event, and select the Role.
3. Tag the Lead Photographer or the Model(s), if any, and press “Create Photo Event.”
NOTE: you can invite as the Lead Photographer and the Model(s) ONLY people who follow you on LiveStage.
4. Wait until all invited users accept the invitations. After everyone has accepted, press “Start Photo Event”.

1. Registration

1.1. First and foremost, you need to download the application. Find LiveStage on the App Store or Google Play Market, or use these links to open the app page for iPhone and for Android.

1.2. Next, you need to register. The registration form is quite simple. Please note that while we ask you to provide an address, which is necessary for you to sign the E-Model release in the application, NO ONE sees it. Also, NO ONE sees your email, as the address and email are not displayed in your account, and these fields are hidden in the model release that you sign with photographers.

1.3. After that, it is essential for you to find the photographer who invited you on LiveStage and follow them; otherwise, they won't be able to invite you as a model to the Photo Event.

1.3.1. We also recommend the photographer to follow you.

2. Public Photo Event

Coordinate with the Lead Photographer whose device will initiate the Public Photo Event. We recommend using the most up-to-date device available. For example, if the Lead Photographer has an iPhone 14 Pro and you have an iPhone 15 Pro, it would be better to start the photo event from your device.

If the Lead Photographer initiates the Public Photo Event from their device

2.1. If the Lead Photographer initiates the Public Photo Event from their device, you will receive a notification that you have been invited as a participant in the Photo Event. Accept the invitation, review the model release, and sign it. Afterward, your Lead Photographer can start the Public Photo Event with you.

If you start a Public Photo Event from your device

2.2. Before starting the photo event from your device, ensure that the Lead Photographer is following you on LiveStage.

2.3. Press the red button as shown in the screenshot, enter the Title, Location, Categories that best fit your Photo Event, and select the Model role.

2.4. Tag the Lead Photographer and other models, if any, and press “Create Photo Event.”

2.5. Wait until all invited users accept the invitations. After everyone has accepted, press “Start Photo Event” and hand over the phone to your Lead Photographer.

3. Private Photo Event

3.1. A Private Photo Event can also be initiated from any device, but there can only be one organizer (for example, if the photographer invited you, then they are the organizer).

3.2. The organizer creates the private event as shown in the Tutorial: Private Photo Event and sends you an invite as a model. You accept it the same way as for a public photo event (as indicated above).

3.3. Once you accept the invite, the event will be displayed on your page and the photographer's page, and any of you can Go Live.

VERY IMPORTANT: During the LiveStage event, do the same as you would when modeling in front of a camera. Even though you won't hear the familiar sound of the shutter during the event, help those who are photographing you remotely to capture the best shots:

• Move smoothly.
• Pause for half a second to a second in a winning pose to allow users to capture a successful shot.
• Try to freeze your whole body, including your arms, legs, and face.

These simple rules will help your online photographers get perfect shots.

In this tutorial you will learn everything about Private Events. We'll show you how to create and promote Private Events, and how to purchase an invite for a Private Event.

Creating a Private Photo Event

1. To create a Private Event, please navigate to the Photo Event Creation page by clicking on the red circular button as shown in the picture.
2. Select “Private”.
3. Add the Cover for your Event.

4. Write a short but descriptive Event title.
5. Add a detailed description so that LiveStage users can familiarize themselves with the concept of your Event.
6. Mark the Event location.
7. Select categories that best fit your Event.

8. Tap on the field to open the calendar and schedule the Private Event for a specific date and time, and specify the duration of the Event.
9. Choose the invite price. Please note that users may see different currency and pricing when purchasing an invite depending on their region. Pricing in different regions is subject to Google Play Market and Apple Store.
10. Add banking information to receive funds.

11. Choose your role: Lead Photographer or Model.
12. Add event co-authors. If you're the Lead Photographer, you can add a model or multiple models. If you're a Model, you can add a Lead Photographer as well as other models if there are several participating.
Please note that you can only invite users who follow you to avoid spam.
Also, note that all co-authors have to accept invitations, and all models have to sign the E-Model release. Only after this, LiveStage users can purchase invites for your Private Event.
13. Tap Create Photo Event Button.

14. Carefully read the Warning and click Okay. If you're a Model, sign the E-Model Release. After that, you'll receive a notification that your Private Event has been created, and you'll be able to see it on your page under the “My Events” tab. The event will be displayed on your page and all the co-authors' pages and any co-author will be able to Go Live as shown on the screenshots.

Promoting a Private Photo Event

Your followers will receive a notification that you've created a Private Event, and they'll see your Event under the “Upcoming” tab on their pages. To promote your Event, you can copy the link to your Private Event and share it outside the LiveStage app. When LiveStage users taps on the link, they'll be directed to your Event page and will be able to purchase an invite. People who are not yet LiveStage users will be suggested to download the app firstly.

Payment for invites is processed through Apple In-App Purchases and Google In-App Purchases. After purchasing, the user will see the Private Event under the “Purchased” tab and can join the Event at the scheduled time. The “Buy an Invite” button will change to “Purchased” status after the purchase. When the Event's Co-Author starts it, the button will become active, and it will say “Join the Event.”
